Welcome to GeoMusDB
This is the new website of GeoMusDB that is currently under construction. To see
the previous pilotversion of the website, developed under a grant from the Danish
Cultural Heritage Agency, click this link.
Objectives
GeoMusDB is developed for the different Danish museums possessing geological material.
It is meant as a tool for registering geological specimens, primarily fossil material.
The main objectives are public access, collection management and scientific interests.
View & Manage the GeoMusDB Database
The GeoMusDB database is used by the staff of the different Geological collections
to register specimens and help them curate and manage the collections.
Staff and other registrants can log on with their user name and password to the upper left.
The contents of the database are also made accessible to the general public who can use the search facilities
to view and browse through the specimens. Just click on the link VIEW DB to proceed.
